Texas songwriter
Probably wearing fringe.
After years of playing other people's songs, an unexpected breakup brought out the songwriter in me.
Less than two years later, I found myself in an Austin, TX studio with a badass all-women band recording Cowboy Collection—my debut album. It's filled with sassy humor, Texas pride, questionable dating decisions, and one actual love song!
Some of the stories are true.
Some are exaggerated.
And any resemblance to actual ex-boyfriends is purely coincidental...
Mostly.
I've also been performing "my version" of cover songs for years—including as half of the Florida-based acoustic duo Apart Inside—and have built a repertoire that wanders through country, rock, pop, Americana, and whatever else sounds good to me.
My solo shows mix original songs with familiar favorites, moving between guitar and keys throughout the show.
